What attracted you to your current bike? So he got one and wanted me to get one to ride with him. So went down and had a white Yamaha Road Star picked out when I went to get it they had the first 1800 VTX come in. It was silver (matched my truck) had driveshaft (no adjusting) and mag wheels (no spoke cleaning) fuel injected (no carbs to adjust.
Fastest you’ve ridden? Don't remember my eyes was watering and couldn’t see.

Favorite road song? Don’t have a favorite song.
What are 3 lessons you’ve learned about riding safely in the past 12 months? Probably cant think of anything new in the last year but one thing I have learned the hard way is never down shift on a wet road, your back tire will lock up making you lose control.
Longest ride? Without stopping was the Iron Butt ride Craig, Jimmy and I did. 1,111 miles in 19 hours.
What was the worst weather you’ve ridden in? Going home from work one night and it came a hail storm the hail was beating me on the head and hands and there was no where to stop to get under shelter.
Favorite time of the year to ride? Spring
Next event you would like to attend? Going to try and make the Florida state rally.
Ever hit any critters, alive or dead? Hit some dead ones never a live one.
Do you have a ride bell on your bike? Yes I have a ride bell.
Why do you ride? I love to ride it clears the head eases the tension.
What is your “dream machine”? I have my 04 VTX fixed up just like I want so happy with it.
If you had only 7 bucks left in your wallet, what would you do with it? Put in $6 gas in the X and go get a cup of coffee somewhere.
Why did you join the Pensacola SCRC Chapter? When I got my bike, I went on the internet and was looking for a riding club and this one came up. I signed up and contacted Boone who had just taken over as first officer. Found out that the guy that had petitioned the SCRC for a charter had not had any luck finding members so the SCRC had asked Boone to take over and if he could not get enough members they were going to pull the charter. I asked Boone if we could have regular schedule meetings. He agreed we met at Ray Cranfords, Boone started the forum and it seemed like we had members joining left and right. We then started having two scheduled rides per month. A good ride was when we had four bikes show up. I became a Road Captain just because I knew a few roads out in the country, lol
